With two basketball players in the family, I didn't have to go far to get my research questions answered! The hero's a high school basketball coach, but the book's not really about sports. There's a scandal, the aftermath of a tragedy, an adoptive mother fiercely protective of two teenage children not much younger than she is, and, of course, love.
