Return to Indigo Springs

After watching him brave deadly whitewater to save a child from drowning, Sara Brenneman is half in love with the enigmatic Michael Donahue. Then she finds out some of the town's citizens -- including Michael himself -- consider him a murderer. Sara must decide whether to believe what her heart tells her about Michael in the first of the RETURN TO INDIGO SPRINGS series.

The series is set in a picturesque Pennsylvania mountain town where tranquility is just an illusion. THE HERO'S SIN has a Feb. 2009 publication date. Here are teasers to the other two books in the series:

THE STRANGER'S SIN, coming out in May 2009, follows the quest of a woman falsely accused of kidnapping as she desperately tries to clear her name. Her search leads her to a sexy forest ranger who has a year-old boy she comes to suspect may be another kidnapping victim.

THE SECRET SIN, an Aug. 2009 release, is packed with emotion. Annie Sublinski has avoided Ryan Whitmore for the past fourteen years, dating back to when they gave up their baby for adoption when they were both sixteen. She never thought she'd see her biological daughter again -- until the young girl shows up in Indigo Springs for a visit with no notion of who Annie and Ryan really are.

Anything For Her Children

My May 2008 release is still available through on-line booksellers. The book's a personal favorite because it's set in the world of high school basketball. With two basketball players in the family, I didn't have to go far to get my research questions answered! The hero's a high school basketball coach, but the book's not really about sports. There's a scandal, the aftermath of a tragedy, an adoptive mother fiercely protective of two teenage children not much younger than she is, and, of course, love.
