I signed books next to George Clooney at an April 2009 book signing at Turn the Page Bookstore Cafe in Boonsboro, Maryland, before the Washington Romance Writers retreat.

Okay. Not really. Michelle Willingham, who writes historical romances for Harlequin Mills & Boon, and I both had the pleasure. A book about the movie star was shelved directly behind us.

Michelle Monkou, president elect of Romance Writers of American, also signed at the multi-author event at Turn the Page. Michelle writes for Harlequin's Kimani Press. Nora Roberts was the headliner at the signing, no surprise since her husband owns the bookstore.

mega-hit among young adult readers. PC was a guest author at the WRW retreat in Leesburg. She was fabulous fun!
